Ingenious Tenaciousness

About a year ago, I met an elderly fellow who seems to really love life and has a lot of what a lot of people don't have - ingenuity. He has a unique ability to make something out of nothing. He writes poetry that the common man can make sense of. He grows plants just to give them away to people for free and meets a lot of new people that way. He is tenacious in everything he does. He is self-made. I do believe he has worked for himself his whole life except for a stint in the Military. I respect that and respect any person that can work for themselves and make it. At times, I wish that I could go out and work for myself. It takes a lot of guts though. I haven't mustered those up yet. I'm getting close to doing it though. I hope that when I reach his age I'm a free spirit just like him.
